English Quarterly, the official refereed journal of the CCTELA, which publishes original contributions on all facets of English language arts at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. The Editors welcome a wide range of genres: debates, interviews, narrative explorations, poetry, point and counterpoint, research investigations, position papers, reviews, works-in-progress, and so on.

The Editors especially welcome papers from classroom practitioners as well as students, education teacher candidates, along with college and university instructors. Furthermore, the Editors are looking for material that is written in a lively accessible style and which links teaching or learning with reflection on that practice.

The Editors welcome submissions at any time. All submissions must be made electronically and sent to the editor.

In keeping with the traditions of EQ, word ranges are quite wide and overt restrictions frowned upon. However, in order to provide as much variety as possible within each separate issue, we would prefer that articles do not exceed 5,000 words. Nonetheless, longer pieces will be considered and authors should communicate directly with the Editors for clarification.

All queries, questions, concerns and/or submissions must be sent to one of the Co-Editors, Dr. Karen Magro at k.magro@uwinnipeg.ca OR Dr. Connie Morrison at connie.morrison@mcgill.ca.
